MAD MAX 2 - THE INTRODUCTION / MONTAGE

Here's the result of some researchs I made about the origin of the footage of the introduction of Mad Max 2...

The footage came from the CINESOUND MOVIETONE.
(You don't know those guys ? that's a good occasion to take a look at that epic movie, NEWSFRONT !)

I know the footage from helicopter, of a detroyed city, comes from Darwin destroyed by Cyclone Tracy in 1974.
